Store Manager

Responsibilities:

 

·        Place serving customers first as the number one priority of School & Pre-School and Learning How retail locations.

·        Maximize sales by implementing merchandising plans, having thorough knowledge of inventory and monitoring individual product sales trends. 

·        Maintain an awareness of area competition and suggest ways to increase sales.

·        Responsible for knowing Monthly and Daily Goals, and motivating the staff to reach them. Identify and create opportunities to increase sales.

·        Hire, train, schedule, and supervise assistant managers and sales associates.  Create a sense of urgency amongst your staff.

·        Maintain adequate employee scheduling coverage based on customer traffic and store responsibilities.

·        Train all staff associates in proper procedures for POS.

·        Reconcile sales and receipts daily. 

·        Provide leadership in the physical inventory process for your store and minimize shrinkage of inventory.

·        Complete other duties as assigned by corporate management.

 

 

Qualifications:

·        High School Diploma or equivalent

·        One-year previous retail experience

·        Excellent people skills required

·         Computer literacy preferred
